Madame Ali

Here is a shoot I did a few months ago but had to post it and show everyone those big beautiful blue eyes! Ali is one of the happiest kids I have met even tho she is serious when she first meets you. And she is one of my cousins:)

Nicole & Jayson

This was a beautiful day especially for November! The sunset was beautiful but as it set it got cold! But this couple & their crew were troopers and held out till the sun was gone. We had lots of laughs and fun. I had gotten to know Nicole & Jay over the past 9 months so we knew each other well and especially Nicole & I had many long talks;) Each wedding I do is unique and special so once again I had a good time and I think all the rest of you did also:) Thanks for including me in your special day and hope you enjoy these photos:)

All the best forever:)

Belts, Buckles and Boots

This was a cold cold windy day out in the hills but these little cowgirls are troopers! They shivered and smiled - wrapped up in blankets every few minutes - of course all us tough ranch girls always have to do this! We had a few good glasses of wine to warm our blood afterwards while the girls had hot chocolate but as you can see these photos were well worth the shivering:) Thanks and hopefully see you all soon at the team roping in MC.

#13 - Our little papoose!

On September 25 our clan proudly welcomed Sierra Paige! This little gal is a doll and has tons of dark hair! She looks just like her mama and has dad's attitude to life so far - laid back;) So this makes #13 for nieces & nephews now! Marty coming from a family of 5 and myself from a family of 7 ..... there are going to be at least a few more since they are just getting started! Yikes! Now you all know why I will never be rich - buying birthday and xmas pressies for them all. But each one is more than well worth it. I love each one more than I can ever express!

Miss R

I met this little one when she was a few wks old and so tiny she fit in her daddy's hockey helmet! Wow has she grown up and so cute with all kinds of big smiles. Can't wait to see you all again!

Surprise Surprise!

A few months ago I received a call that our neighbour was getting married quietly up in the hills and to keep quiet. Wow Derek was getting married!! We had spent alot of time together being neighbours at the farm and alot of late nights drinking ect so we know each other really well! After saying for all these yrs he never would Marlayna took him off his feet. They met a few yrs ago at the MC auction ring and there Daisy caught Dirty's eye. A few yrs later Peyton was born and then this wonderful marriage up in the Hills just a few miiles from where Marty and I were married. It was a cold drizzling day but we got beautiful photos especially at Uncle Jack's old barn. Even with the rain everyone was in good spirits including when Greg was wandering in the barn loft and decided to try go through the floor! Thank God it was only one leg! Congratulations guys and see Dirty marriage isn't that bad after all!

Dirty said to me why the heck are you taking photos of us in kosher weeds? This is why!

Dad's old schoolhouse out on the prairie........45 yrs later!

I hope you all enjoy these photos. They are great memories and with the graduates of 2009 from Maple Creek make it even better memories. This is the one room schoolhouse that my uncle and aunt went to school in till grade 9 then my dad in kindergarten and grade one. Everyday they walked a mile across the creek to school. It is known as the "Moorhead school" since it is on their land and they are our great neighbours at the farm. Years after that it was our "play schoolhouse" at the farm which my siblings as well as all the neighbours loved. If you look close our names are still written on the chalkboard! It is full of good memories even tho the hail storm a few yrs ago destroyed alot of it - a few of the chalkboards fell down, desks were broken and alot more. We will never forget all our good times here as kids. This is also where I had my wedding photos taken 3 yrs ago! I hope all you graduates never forget this happy, adventrous and crazy outing! I had a blast with you all and will certainly not forget it especially after the rusty nail I pulled out of my foot! Hope you all love them as much as I do!

Maple Creek Grad Girls 2009

All the best of luck! I had a great time except we should have ordered pizza before we started. Little did we know almost 5 hrs later when the sun was gone we'd be done! There will be more of your group photos coming - be patient. lol
